A strong delivery system is the Holy Grail for any email based initiative. Most delivery systems are proprietary and many times are outsourced. Some delivery systems live on site and are managed 100% by the client. These systems typically require a fulltime resource to manage the system, the whitelists, feedback loops, blacklists, bounce management and list hygiene, virus concerns and relationships with the ISPs and RBLs.
The TrendCRM Surge Delivery system is a dynamic, high performing delivery system for e-marketing initiatives. This system is tightly integrated with TrendCRM Direct and the TrendCRM Alliance Platform and allows for onsite or TrendCRM hosted usage scenarios. The system is fully managed with dynamic configurations that adjust real-time to compensate for changing ISP requirements.
Depending on the implementation the outgoing Surge Delivery topology may differ. TrendCRM will either leverage a hosted install of SD or may chose to install a managed system on the client’s local network.
All content that leaves the TrendCRM Direct system is authenticated as originating from TrendCRM Direct. Checks prevent unauthorized use of the delivery system by spam bots or other malicious entities. As such the campaigns have integrity knowing that they are constructed and verified programmatically.
Virus scanning of all outgoing email is an optional service.
Each email is checked for spam clues prior to send and is reported back to the client / manager to help create email messaging that has the best chance for delivery.
TrendCRM Direct has automated RBL (publicly available blacklists) checks that notify when somehow TrendCRM Direct has made it on a blacklist. These issues are immediately addressed by a TrendCRM Direct Manager.
TrendCRM Direct email is SPF and SenderID compliant having valid Spf text records for each sending server and domain. All email passes the SPF, SenderID MFROM, and SenderID PRA methods.
TrendCRM has the infrastructure in place to support Domain Keys and is closely watching the industry for rapid adoption. Domain Keys compliance is an optional service currently and can be enabled upon request.
All email handled by TrendCRM Direct is validated as CanSPAM compliant.
Certain domains / ISPs will block messages or send them to the Junk mail folder when too many connections are made to their respective mail servers. TrendCRM Direct dynamically adjusts these limits sometimes several times a week depending on ISP mail whims.
Like the connection throttles, TrendCRM Direct limits the number of emails sent per hour to different domains that require such limits.
The nature of the configurations require them to be changed when necessary. The TrendCRM Surge Delivery system allows system wide updates from one centralized location at the TrendCRM data center.
The TrendCRM Surge Delivery System has an advanced queuing system that provides real-time analysis of a specific campaign. This is particularly important for larger sends. Campaign specific queues can be stopped or started in any phase of the send process.
Customizable alerts and thresholds give the TrendCRM Surge Delivery System a flexible “Early warning system” for potential problems.
